Four years in, is anyone actually happy with how this was rolled out

FlushingFrankLOCAL1 month ago · Queens

Genuine question, not a rant, or at least not entirely. It has been years now and I cannot work out whether the plan was slow on purpose or just slow. I drive all day and I hear the same conversation in the back of the car from people who could not be more different from each other, and the one thing they agree on is that it did not go the way they were told it would. I am not asking whether you like the idea. I am asking whether the thing that actually got built resembles what was promised where you live. My guess is the answer depends enormously on your zip code, which is sort of my point. So: where are you, and does it feel finished to you? I will read every reply even the ones that tell me I am being a grouch.

north country here and no. depends entirely where you are standing, which i think is the answer to your question.

In Brooklyn it feels finished and then some. Which is exactly why I do not trust my own read on whether it went well statewide.

Not a grouch. Out here it feels like they forgot the middle of the job and moved on.
